Small by design. Personal on purpose.

We built Sweet Life so clients could work with people who know their name, understand their story, and answer the phone when life changes.

A relationship, not a call center

Financial planning is personal. We think the firm providing it should feel personal too.

Our team is intentionally small, collaborative, and rooted in our community. You will not be handed off to a rotating service center or asked to explain your situation to a new person every time you call.

You will work with a team that understands your plan, remembers what matters to you, and takes responsibility for helping move things forward.

“You should not have to reintroduce yourself every time you need financial advice.”

Brian LaHue, CFP®

FOUNDER AND FINANCIAL PLANNER

Brian has spent nearly two decades in financial services, including years in banking, learning how the industry works from the inside. He started Sweet Life to build the kind of firm he would want his own family to work with: thoughtful, straightforward, deeply personal, and willing to look beyond investments.

His interest in money began early. Growing up in a household where money was budgeted and openly discussed taught him discipline and the importance of planning. His marriage to Marcee taught him something equally valuable: a good life also requires celebration, spontaneity, and permission to enjoy the present.

That balance became the foundation of Sweet Life.

Brian asks a lot of questions, explains complicated ideas in simple terms, and is willing to challenge clients when fear is getting in the way of living. His goal is not simply to help people accumulate more. It is to help them understand what matters most and use their money to spend more time on those things.

Outside the office, Brian and Marcee coach track at Corydon Central. They have two children, Booker and Georgia, and Brian is an unapologetically enthusiastic Georgia Bulldogs fan.
